Skiplegs Terms of Use
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Effective: [DATE OF PUBLICATION]
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Viacheslav Volianiuk, the provider of Skiplegs ("we", "us", "our"). They cover the Skiplegs app for iPhone, the Skiplegs app for Apple Watch, its widgets, Live Activities and Siri shortcuts, and the online service behind them (together, "Skiplegs").
By downloading or using Skiplegs, or by creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Skiplegs.
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. It is a separate document, and you should read it too.
In short
This summary helps you find your way around. The full Terms below are what count.
- You must be at least 13 to use Skiplegs.
- Skiplegs is free with up to 15 sets a day. Skiplegs Pro is an optional subscription, sold and billed by Apple, that renews automatically until you cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
- Deleting your Skiplegs account does not cancel your subscription.
- You own what you post. You let us show it to the people your settings allow.
- We have zero tolerance for abusive content and abusive users. You can report and block, and we review reports within 24 hours.
- Skiplegs is not medical advice. Train safely and talk to a doctor if you're unsure.
1. Who we are
Skiplegs is provided by Viacheslav Volianiuk, an individual entrepreneur registered in Armenia (registration number [IE REGISTRATION NUMBER]). Our contact details are in section 19.
2. Apple and the App Store
You get Skiplegs from Apple's App Store. Your licence to use the app is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"). These Terms add to the Apple EULA and cover what it doesn't: accounts, Skiplegs Pro, what you share and how we moderate it. If these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict about your licence to use the app, the Apple EULA applies. On everything else, these Terms apply.
You also acknowledge and agree that:
- These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Skiplegs or its content.
- You may use Skiplegs only on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, and as allowed by the usage rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Skiplegs. For help, contact us.
- If Skiplegs fails to meet any warranty that applies to it, you can notify Apple, and Apple will refund the price you paid for the app, if any. To the fullest extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Skiplegs. As between Apple and us, any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by such a failure are our responsibility.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for dealing with any claims by you or anyone else about Skiplegs or your use of it. This includes product liability claims, claims that Skiplegs fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws, including claims about how Skiplegs uses Apple Health (HealthKit).
- If anyone claims that Skiplegs, or your possession and use of it, infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that the U.S. Government has designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- When you use Skiplegs, you must also follow any third-party terms that apply to you, such as your mobile data provider's terms.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
3. Who can use Skiplegs
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Skiplegs.
- If you are under the age of majority where you live (18 in most countries), you need permission from a parent or legal guardian where the law requires it, and they should read these Terms with you. A parent or guardian who allows a minor to use Skiplegs agrees to these Terms on the minor's behalf and is responsible for the minor's use, including any purchases.
- If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we will delete that account and its data. If you believe a child under 13 is using Skiplegs, please tell us at [email protected].
- You may not use Skiplegs if the law forbids you to, or if we have removed you from Skiplegs before, unless we agree otherwise.
- Skiplegs is for your personal, non-commercial use.
4. Using Skiplegs with or without an account
Without an account. You can use Skiplegs without signing in. Your workouts are then stored only on your device. If you delete the app or lose the device, they may be lost. Friends, stories and syncing between devices need an account.
With an account. You can sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, with Sign in with Apple, or with Google. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email address, Apple gives us a relay address, and our emails reach you through Apple's relay service.
When you have an account, you agree to:
- give accurate information and use an email address you can access;
- keep your email account, Apple Account or Google account secure, because anyone who controls it can get into your Skiplegs account;
- keep your account to yourself, and not create an account for someone else without their permission;
- not create a new account to get around a suspension, a removal or someone's block;
- tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account.
You are responsible for what happens on your account, unless it is caused by our failure or by misuse that you could not reasonably have prevented.
Names and usernames. You choose a display name and a username. They must follow our Community Standards (section 8). They must not impersonate anyone or use a name or trademark you have no right to use. We may reset or reclaim a name or username that breaks these Terms, and we will tell you if we do.
5. Free features and Skiplegs Pro
Skiplegs is free to download and use. Free use includes logging up to 15 sets a day, plus every feature of the app that isn't marked as Pro. The count is per calendar day in your local time. It covers every set logged to that day, including sets you add for that day later.
Skiplegs Pro adds:
- unlimited sets every day;
- access to past training periods in Progress;
- full-screen charts.
The app shows what Pro includes before you buy. If your Pro access ends, we keep everything you've logged and you return to the free limits. Some of your history may then be in past periods that need Pro to view.
We may also give Pro access free of charge, for example to testers. Unless we tell you otherwise, we can end free access at any time.
6. Subscription terms
6.1 Who sells and bills Pro. Skiplegs Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through the App Store. Apple takes the payment and charges it to your Apple Account. We never see your card or other payment details. Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions also apply to your purchase. We use RevenueCat, a subscription management service, to check whether your subscription is active.
6.2 Plans and prices. Pro is available as a monthly plan and a yearly plan. Prices vary by country. The price, currency and billing period are shown in the app and on Apple's purchase sheet before you confirm. We don't currently offer free trials or introductory prices. If we offer one in the future, its terms will be shown before you buy.
6.3 Automatic renewal. Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, for the same length of time and at the price that applies then, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
6.4 How to cancel. You can cancel at any time, and you don't have to give a reason:
- on iPhone, open Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Skiplegs Pro › Cancel Subscription;
- or go to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions;
- or tap Manage subscription on the Account tab in Skiplegs.
When you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and then it ends. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
6.5 Refunds. Apple handles all payments and refunds for Skiplegs Pro, so we can't issue refunds ourselves. To ask for a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. Apple decides under its own policies. We don't give refunds or credits for the unused part of a period. This does not affect any rights you have under the law, including any right you have in the EU or the UK to withdraw from a purchase, which you can use through Apple. If Apple refunds a purchase, the Pro access it paid for ends.
6.6 Price changes. We may change the price of Skiplegs Pro for future periods, but only for objective reasons, such as:
- changes in what it costs us to provide Skiplegs (servers, storage, third-party services, support);
- changes in taxes, duties or other charges;
- changes in exchange rates or inflation;
- changes in Apple's prices, price tiers or fees;
- significant new features added to Pro.
You will be told before a new price applies. Apple sends the notice, by email and in the app, as Apple's rules and the law require. Where your consent is required, the new price applies only once you agree. If you don't agree, your subscription ends at the end of the current period. You can always cancel before a new price takes effect. A price change never affects a period you've already paid for.
6.7 Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Your subscription is with Apple, and Apple will keep charging you until you cancel it as described in 6.4. If you no longer want Pro, cancel it before you delete your account.
6.8 Buying without an account. You can buy Pro without a Skiplegs account. Your subscription belongs to the Apple Account that paid for it. If you sign in later, your purchase moves to your Skiplegs account. If you tap Restore purchases (Account › Skiplegs Pro) while signed in to a different Skiplegs account, Pro moves to that account. On a new device, use Restore purchases to get Pro back.
6.9 Family Sharing. Skiplegs Pro can't be shared through Family Sharing.
6.10 Payment problems. If Apple can't take a renewal payment, Apple may try again and you may keep Pro for a short grace period. If the payment still doesn't go through, Pro ends.
7. Your content and who sees it
What counts as your content. Your display name, username, bio, profile photo, story captions, highlight titles and reactions. It also includes what Skiplegs shows other people about your training: your training summary and the stories built from your workouts.
You own it. You keep all rights you have in your content. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, adapt and display your content. Adapting means things like resizing or cropping your photo or fitting a caption on screen. We use this licence only to run Skiplegs, to show your content to the people your settings allow, to keep backups and to meet our legal obligations. We don't use your content for advertising and we don't sell it. We won't use it outside Skiplegs, for example in our marketing, without your permission. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for a limited time to meet legal obligations or to handle a dispute or report.
Who sees what.
- Any signed-in Skiplegs user can find you by name or username in search. They can see your display name, username and profile photo, unless one of you has blocked the other.
- Your profile is public by default. While it is public, any signed-in user can also see your bio, your training summary and your stories. The summary covers your totals, your best set, your record for each exercise, your badges, your current streak, your sets and reps for each day of the last 12 weeks, your totals by exercise for the last 7 days, and the day you last trained. People who aren't your friends never see your full list of sets or the times you trained.
- If you make your profile private, only friends you've accepted see more than your name, username and photo.
- Friends you accept see more of your training, including when you trained. This works both ways.
- You can change this at any time in Account › Friends & Privacy › Public profile.
- Stories disappear after 24 hours unless you add them to your Highlights. A story you make with a friend appears only after they accept it, and only people who can see both your profiles can see it.
- When you post a story, you can see who viewed it and who reacted to it. Other people can see the same about your views and reactions on their stories.
Your responsibilities. You must have the right to post your content, for example the right to use a photo. Your content must follow the Community Standards. Don't post photos of other people without their permission.
Other people's content. You may view other people's content in Skiplegs for your own personal use. Don't copy or repost it outside Skiplegs without their permission.
Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely, without paying you or owing you anything.
8. Community Standards
Skiplegs is a place to train and cheer each other on. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. In your name, username, bio, photo, captions, highlight titles, reactions or anything else you do in Skiplegs, you must not:
- harass, bully, threaten, intimidate or stalk anyone, or mock people's bodies or abilities;
- post hate speech, or attack people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or a similar characteristic;
- post nudity or sexual content. Any content that sexualises minors is removed at once, and we report it to the authorities;
- post graphic violence, or encourage self-harm, suicide, eating disorders or dangerous challenges;
- promote or sell illegal or regulated goods, such as drugs, steroids or weapons, or encourage any other illegal activity;
- send spam, advertising or scams;
- post links, including web and email addresses;
- impersonate anyone, or mislead people about who you are;
- share other people's personal information or images without their consent;
- infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
- post anything else that is illegal where you live or in the country of the people who can see it.
You also must not misuse Skiplegs. That means you must not:
- access someone else's account;
- collect data from Skiplegs with bots, scrapers or other automated means;
- get around the free limits, security measures, blocks or our moderation decisions;
- interfere with or overload our servers;
- reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
- create accounts to evade a block, suspension or removal;
- knowingly send false reports.
9. Reporting, blocking and moderation
How to report. In the app, use Report on a profile or a story. Or email [email protected] with "Report" in the subject line. Anyone can report by email, even without a Skiplegs account. To help us act quickly, please include:
- the username and the content you're reporting (for example, the story and its date);
- why you think it breaks these Terms or the law;
- your name and email address (you may leave these out if you're reporting child sexual abuse material);
- a statement that you believe, in good faith, that your report is accurate and complete.
We will confirm that we received your report and tell you what we decided.
How to block. Open the person's profile and tap Block. Blocking removes your friendship. It also hides each of you from the other everywhere in Skiplegs, including search, profiles, photos and stories. The other person isn't told. You can see and undo blocks in Account › Friends & Privacy › Blocked accounts. Unblocking doesn't restore the friendship.
How we respond. We review every report within 24 hours. If content breaks these Terms or the law, we remove it and act against the account that posted it. For objectionable content or abusive behaviour, this normally means removing that user from Skiplegs. A person reviews every report. We also use simple automated filters, a list of blocked words, a check for links and a check for hidden characters (invisible characters and characters that change the direction of text), that stop some names, usernames, bios, captions and highlight titles from being saved. These filters never suspend or remove an account on their own. We may also act on our own initiative when we find content that breaks these Terms.
What we may do. Depending on how serious the problem is, how often it happened, whether it was intended and how much harm it caused, we may:
- remove or hide content;
- reset a display name, username, bio or profile photo;
- limit features, such as posting stories or sending friend requests;
- suspend an account for a period;
- permanently remove an account and stop the person from creating a new one;
- report content or behaviour to law enforcement, where the law requires it or someone's life or safety is at risk.
We tell you why. If we restrict your content or account, we tell you in the app or by email. We say what we did, why, which rule or law it was based on, whether automated means were involved, and how you can appeal. We may not tell you if the law forbids it, if telling you would put someone at risk or hamper an investigation, or if we have no way to contact you.
How to appeal. If you disagree with our decision, email [email protected] with "Appeal" in the subject within 6 months of the decision, and tell us why. People who reported content can also appeal if we decided not to act. Appeals are free. A person reviews each one, not an automated system. We tell you the outcome and the reasons, and we reverse our decision if it was wrong. If you live in the EU, you can also take the dispute to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body under the Digital Services Act. You can always go to court.
Misuse of reporting. If someone often posts clearly illegal content, or often sends clearly unfounded reports, we may warn them first. If it continues, we may suspend their account, or stop handling their reports, for a reasonable period.
10. Health and safety
- Skiplegs helps you log bodyweight training. It is not medical advice and not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.
- Talk to a doctor or another qualified professional before you start a new exercise programme, especially if you have a health condition or an injury, are pregnant, or haven't exercised for a while.
- Exercise carries a risk of injury. Pull-ups, dips, push-ups, squats, planks, handstands and planche holds put real load on your body. Use stable, secure equipment, warm up, use good form and progress gradually.
- Stop at once and get medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest pain or unusual shortness of breath.
- Goals, streaks, badges and progress charts are there to motivate you. They are not personal recommendations. Never train through pain to keep a streak.
- If you allow it, Skiplegs writes your workouts and an estimate of the active calories you burned to Apple Health. These calorie figures are rough estimates based on your repetitions, not on measurements of your body. Don't rely on them for medical or nutritional decisions. Skiplegs doesn't read any other Health data; it only checks the workouts it saved itself.
- You decide how you train. This does not limit our responsibility under section 16 for anything the law does not let us exclude.
11. Our app and your licence
Skiplegs and everything in it are owned by us or our licensors. That includes the app, its design, code, badges, illustrations and text, and the Skiplegs name. As long as you follow these Terms and the Apple EULA, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Skiplegs for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, sell or rent Skiplegs. You may not remove our notices or use our name or logo without our permission. These Terms don't give you any other rights in Skiplegs.
12. Other companies' services
Skiplegs works with services provided by others: Apple's App Store, Sign in with Apple, Apple Health, Siri and Apple Watch, Google sign-in and, if you connect it, Strava. When you use them, their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for them. The service providers we use to run Skiplegs are listed in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to Skiplegs
We keep improving Skiplegs. We may add, change or remove features and limits. Sometimes Skiplegs may be unavailable, for example during maintenance or an outage. You can still log sets offline, and they sync when you're back online.
Changes to Pro. We may make a change during a period you've paid for that affects your access to or use of Pro more than slightly. If we do, we'll tell you in the app or by email before the change, and you can cancel. If you live in the EU or the UK, or anywhere the law gives you this right, you can end your subscription free of charge within 30 days of the change or of our notice, whichever is later. You can then ask Apple for a refund of the unused period, and we will support your request. We don't need to give this notice for changes required by law or for security reasons, or for changes that don't harm you.
If we stop providing Skiplegs. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice. We'll stop new sales and renewals. We'll tell you how to ask Apple for a refund of any period you've paid for but can't use.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. For significant changes, we'll tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Changes that the law requires sooner, or that are needed for urgent safety or security reasons, may take effect earlier. We may ask you to accept the new Terms in the app. If you don't agree, you can stop using Skiplegs, cancel your subscription and delete your account before the changes take effect. The date at the top shows when these Terms last changed. We keep earlier versions and will send them to you on request.
15. Ending this agreement
You can stop using Skiplegs at any time. You can delete your account in the app under Account tab › Delete Account. Our Privacy Policy explains what gets deleted. Deleting your account does not cancel your Pro subscription (see 6.7).
We may suspend or end your account if:
- you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms;
- the law requires us to;
- your use puts other people or Skiplegs at risk;
- we stop providing Skiplegs (see section 13).
We'll tell you and give our reasons, as described in section 9, unless the law forbids it or telling you would put someone at risk. If we end your account because you broke these Terms, we don't owe you a refund, but your rights under the law still apply.
These parts of the Terms keep applying after the agreement ends: sections 2, 7 (for content we must keep), 10, 16, 17 and 18.
16. Our responsibility to you
- We provide Skiplegs with reasonable care and skill. These Terms do not affect your rights under consumer law, such as the right to digital content and services that work as described.
- Apart from those rights, and as far as the law allows, we provide Skiplegs as it is. We don't promise that it will always be available, be free of errors or meet every need you have.
- As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for business losses, because Skiplegs is for personal use. We are also not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, or by your breach of these Terms.
- As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you for all claims about Skiplegs is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for Skiplegs Pro in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim, and (b) USD 50.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; for harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence; or for anything else that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. Nothing in these Terms takes that protection away. You can bring a claim in the courts of Armenia, or in the courts where you live if your local law allows it.
If you have a complaint, please contact us first. Most problems can be solved quickly by email.
18. General
- These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Apple EULA and any terms shown when you buy are the whole agreement between you and us about Skiplegs.
- If a court finds part of these Terms invalid, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- We may transfer this agreement to another person or company, for example a company set up to run Skiplegs, as long as your rights are not reduced. We'll tell you if we do. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms to anyone else.
- These Terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version applies, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
- We contact you in the app or at the email address linked to your account. You can contact us using the details in section 19.
