Need help with Skiplegs, your account or Skiplegs Pro? Here's how to reach us and how to do the most common things yourself.
Contact us
- In the app: open the Account tab and tap Send feedback. You can get help with Skiplegs Pro, tell us about a problem (with a screenshot, if you like), share an idea, or read answers to common questions. It works without an account, and if you're offline, the app sends your message once you're back online.
- Email: [email protected]. Use it for help, privacy requests, legal requests and reports.
- Postal address: [POSTAL ADDRESS]
- Phone: [PHONE]
We reply in English and aim to answer within two working days. Reports of abusive or illegal content are reviewed within 24 hours.
Send feedback can attach your app version, iPhone model and iOS version for you, and shows them before you send. By email, to help us help you faster, tell us:
- what happened and what you expected to happen;
- your iPhone model and iOS version;
- your Skiplegs username, if you have an account.
We will never ask for your Apple Account password, your Skiplegs sign-in code or your card details. Don't send them to anyone who claims to be us.
Skiplegs Pro
What's free and what Pro adds
Skiplegs is free to use, with up to 15 sets a day. Skiplegs Pro is an optional subscription that adds:
- unlimited sets every day;
- your past training periods in Progress;
- full-screen charts.
You don't need an account to use Skiplegs or to buy Pro.
How to subscribe
- In Skiplegs, open the Account tab (the person icon in the tab bar) and tap Skiplegs Pro. The same screen opens when you reach the free daily limit.
- Choose the monthly or the yearly plan. Apple shows the price and how often you'll be charged before you confirm.
- Confirm the purchase with Apple.
How billing works:
- Apple sells and bills Skiplegs Pro through the App Store and charges your Apple Account. We never see your card or payment details.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- There's no free trial at the moment.
- If you subscribe without an account and sign in later, Pro moves to your Skiplegs account.
How to cancel
Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- On iPhone: open Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Skiplegs Pro and tap Cancel Subscription. If there's no cancel button, or you see an expiry date in red, the subscription is already cancelled.
- In Skiplegs: open the Account tab and tap Manage subscription. This opens your Apple subscription settings.
- On the web: go to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions and sign in with your Apple Account.
Apple's guide: Cancel a subscription from Apple.
Your subscription belongs to your Apple Account, so we can't cancel it for you. Deleting the app or your Skiplegs account does not cancel it.
How to request a refund
Apple handles all payments for Skiplegs Pro, so Apple decides on refunds. We can't issue refunds ourselves.
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account you used to subscribe.
- Choose I'd like to › Request a refund.
- Choose a reason, select Skiplegs Pro and submit the request.
Apple's guide: Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple.
If Apple refunds your subscription, Pro is removed from the app.
Nothing on this page limits your rights under consumer law. Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights. In the EU and the UK, for example, you may be able to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. Apple handles these requests too.
If you paid but Pro didn't unlock, or Pro doesn't work as described, email us. We'll help even if the problem is ours rather than Apple's.
How to restore purchases
Use this after you reinstall Skiplegs, move to a new iPhone, or if Pro is missing.
- Make sure your iPhone is signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account you used to subscribe.
- Open the Account tab, tap Skiplegs Pro and then Restore purchases at the bottom of the screen.
You don't need a Skiplegs account to restore. If you're signed in, Pro is restored to the Skiplegs account you're signed in to. Skiplegs on Apple Watch gets Pro from your iPhone.
Still no Pro? Email us the date of purchase and the order ID from Apple's receipt email. Don't send card details.
Your account
How to delete your account
- Open the Account tab.
- Scroll to the end of Settings and tap Delete Account. You see this row only when you're signed in.
- Confirm.
If you have Skiplegs Pro, cancel it first. Deleting your account doesn't cancel the subscription, and Apple keeps charging you until you cancel it as described above. Deleting your account doesn't refund you either.
What is deleted. Your account and the data stored with it on our servers:
- your sign-in details;
- your profile: name, username, bio and photo;
- your friends, friend requests and blocks;
- your stories and highlights, and the likes, reactions and views you made;
- the workouts, deleted-set records, goals, badges and streak repairs synced to your account, and your cloud backup;
- Live Activity tokens;
- your analytics profile at PostHog and your customer record at RevenueCat.
This can't be undone.
What stays.
- The training log on your iPhone stays on that iPhone. Skiplegs tells you this before you confirm. To keep a copy, use Save a copy first (see below). To remove the log from the iPhone, delete the app.
- Workouts that Skiplegs saved to Apple Health stay in Health. You can delete them in the Health app, where Skiplegs is listed as a data source.
- Activities that Skiplegs posted to Strava stay on Strava. Deleting your account revokes Skiplegs' access to Strava; you can delete the activities in Strava.
- Crash reports in Sentry contain only your account ID and are deleted automatically within 90 days.
- Copies in our hosting provider's backups are overwritten within 30 days.
- We may keep some records for a limited time, for example where the law requires it. The Privacy Policy explains what and for how long.
Can't open the app? Email us from the email address linked to your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours.
How to see, export or correct your data
You can do most of it in the app:
- Correct your profile: Account › Edit profile. Change your name, username, bio, photo and email there.
- Correct your training log: swipe a set in your log, then tap Edit or Delete.
- Delete one of your stories: open it, tap the … button and choose Delete story.
- Export your training log: Account › Backup › Save a copy. This saves your sets, goals and badges as a JSON file wherever you choose, such as Files or iCloud Drive.
- Choose who sees your profile: Account › Friends & Privacy › Public profile. Profiles are public by default: anyone signed in to Skiplegs who finds you sees your bio, your totals and streak, your record for each exercise, your badges, your sets and reps for each day of the last 12 weeks, your totals by exercise for the last 7 days, and your stories and highlights. Turn the switch off and people can still find you by name, but they see only your name, username and photo until you accept them as a friend.
- Analytics and crash reports: they're on for everyone, with no setting in the app. To object, email us; the Privacy Policy explains what happens.
For anything else, email us. That includes a copy of all the data we hold about you, a correction you can't make in the app, or an objection to how we use your data. We answer these requests free of charge within one month, and we may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. The Privacy Policy describes your rights in full.
Report a person or content
Skiplegs doesn't allow abusive, hateful, sexual or illegal content in names, usernames, photos, bios or story captions. The Terms of Use list the rules.
In the app: open the person's profile or the story, tap Report and choose a reason.
By email: write to [email protected] with "Report" in the subject line. Include:
- the person's username;
- what you're reporting (their name, username, photo, bio or a story) and when you saw it;
- why you're reporting it, with a screenshot if you can.
If you think the content is illegal, also tell us which law you think it breaks and why. Add a statement that your report is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
We review reports within 24 hours. We may remove the content and suspend or delete the account. We tell you what we decided. If we act on your content or account, we tell you why. If you disagree, or if you reported something and we decided not to act, you can appeal: email us within 6 months of the decision, with "Appeal" in the subject, and tell us why. A person reviews every appeal.
Block someone: open their profile and tap Block. Blocking removes the friendship and hides you from each other everywhere in Skiplegs, including search. They aren't told. To unblock, go to Account › Friends & Privacy › Blocked accounts. Unblocking doesn't restore the friendship.
Children under 13. You must be at least 13 to use Skiplegs. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission where the law requires it. If you believe a child under 13 has a Skiplegs account, email us. We delete such accounts when we learn of them.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
